About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

dear visa consular,

I am a banker (a pakistani citizen, living in karachi)and wants to visit china by road alongwith my family that is my mother, my wife, my 3 kids (aged 8,5 and 2) my sister, two nephews and my driver on my personal cars (2) via kkH (khunjeraab Pass to Kashgar route)

i will appreciate if you can answer my following questions:

1. Will my kids require a visa? as normal practice in pakistan we include childrens names with mother or fathers passports. do we have to do that or they do not require a visa.

2. Can we enter china using our own cars without any specific permit or we require to have car permits made before our travel.

3. Can we drive our cars in china, as we do not have valid chinese driving licence, is normal pakistani licence is accepted for pakistani visitors in china?

4. On our visit/ tourist visa's can we travel beyond kashgar say upto Great wall of china and beijing?

i would really appreciate your response to my inquiry as it will really help me to plan my visit to China.

1. You kids need visas for entry. Attach your kids' photos on your visa application form.
2. Probably, you are not allowed to drive your own cars.
3. To drive in China, you must have a Chinese driving license.
4. With the Chinese visa, you are allowed to visit most parts of China except for Tibet.
