A difficult question! I lived in my friend's home when I was there, so have no idea on the cost. But, I suggest that you find one around the West Lake, because it is the soul of Hangzhou and some tour destination around it. You may consider a youth hostel or an economical chain hotel, such as Home Inn, Jinjiang Star, 168...
