About:China Visa

We are US citizens. We are taking a tour with Travel China Guide in July 2009. What type of VISA do we need to apply. Can we entrust my friend in China to get the visa for us or do we need to apply for it in USA? What document do we need to send with the visa application?

Tourist visa(L visa) is required for your entry. You can apply for a Chinese visa in the Embassy of P.R.C in USA. Mrs Yamaha, I can't understand why you have the idea to entrust a friend to get the visa for you. Generally, it is much difficult to apply for another foreign country's visa outside your home country.
