any one have an idea of who started or had the idea of makeing the great wall?

Chinese ancient kings of small states during the warring periods built their own sections of walls to defend enemies, and the emperor Qin Shihuang connected these scattered walls into a long wall in order to defend the intrusion from the northern minority tribes.
