Hi, I want to cycle from Lijiang to Lugu and further to Sechuan (Leshan, Emei, Chengdu). Do you have some idea about the road conditions and accomodations on the road?Thanks (markvandelaer.be|mark)

The road is all cobble stone, very rough with many places with small landslides to VW size boulders on it.  One side is mostly a sheer cliff up; the other a several thousand foot drop off.  Very remote with only one small town with any services on the way.  We did it by car and can't imagine biking it from Lijiang.
