About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Hi,
My name is Jing Tong. I need to renew my china passport but it has already expired since May 2007. How much will it cost to renew it and how long will it take?
I would like to know if my canadian friend travels to china with me , does she need a visa and how much does it cost? How long does it take to make ? How long does she have before her visa expires?
Does a person from the ottawa embassy come to montreal?

You should renew it earlier. It costs about 70 Canidian dollars. It will take 30 days to renew your passport. Your friend needs a visa. Does she want to apply for a single-entry visa? The visa fees vary from one type of visa to another.

Hi,
I would like to know if I need to go in person to the ottawa embassy to renew my china passport or can someone from a travel agency get it done for me. Can it be done express or does it really take 30 days.Can it be done by mailing an application? What are the documents I would need?

Mr. li, you have to go in person to renew your passport. There is no express service regarding the renewal of visa.
