About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

I am going to Hong Kong, Macau and China in September 2009. As a Malaysian citizen, I need a visa to visit China. May I know if there is any expiration date for a Single-Entry Visa? I am thinking of applying for the visa now (February 2009).

Yes, there is validity period for a Chinese visa. You’d better apply for the visa only 1 to 2 months before your planned date of enter China. Generally, the validity of a single-entry visa is 3 months as from the day of lodging. So please make sure you are going to use it before it expires.
