Hi all, I am currently based in Nanjing. This weekend will be the best time to enjoy the plum blossom on the Plum Blossom Hill. The blossom is blooming. Plum blossom is blossoming. Plum Blossom is the city flower of Nanjing. Nanjing enjoys a long history of cultivating and enjoying plum blossom, particularly on the Plum Blossom Hill (Meihua Hill). It is one of the four national plum blossom scenic spots, which is located in Zhongshan Hill Scenic Area.

Hi Sabina,
I'll be traveling by train from Xian to Shanghai. Would you recommend stopping in Nanjing for a day or so? Is the town manageable on foot? Thanks. Pat

I have just found some information on the Weather but it would be goofd to hear from you on any other aspects of Nanjing and perhaps you would be kind enough to tell me what your purpose is out there?
What you wpuld do differently if youy were going there again? Is it you r first time there?

Aug in Nanjing is hot summer. The temperature would be around 30~35 degree .This temperature will last till the mid of Sep. Then go into winter with an average degree of 0~10degree. Welcome to Nanjing.

Hi. Are you aware of a high quality, smaller hotel in the old part of Nanjing city, as opposed to the typical multi-national high rise hotels please? Many thanks, Larry

there are many types of economic hotel in nanjing,maybe you can choose from them,they are small ,the room is clean and room decoration is simple and in fashion.

it is a bit late to go visiting now,the scenery spot is about 20 mins away from the downtown by car.
