Question

I will be going to Hong Kong in March.  In previous times I could go to Shenzhen for the day by KCR to Lowu and get a visa at the border.  Is this service still available or do you have to have a visa for China before you leave your country of origin. Hope it is still easy as Shenzhen is a wonderful place for shopping and personal pampering.

Going in March also but will be travelling through China and must have a visa.  If you have time spend the small amount of money and get one.  Entry requirements into China change evry time I go (3 times a year)- not worth the risk.  Google your closest PRC consulate and check by phone
