About:Former Residence of Lu Shaoxu

Hello,
I would like to know, if I hold a 12 month multiple entry tourist visa for china with a maximum stay of 90 days for each time, is, going to Hong Kong, considered as exiting China?

Since Hong Kong and mainland China have different visa regulations, it could be counted as one exit.
