On August 4, a new route of CRH (China Railway High-speed) linking Shanghai with Anhui's provincial capital Hefei was successfully inaugurated. Every day, three pairs of CRH trains run between Shanghai and Hefei. A single journey takes no more than three hours, which saves at least three hours compared to standard express train chedules. It is understood that the price for the first class ticket is CNY 192 and CNY 160 for the second class. The schedule for trains departing from Shanghai terminus:
Train Number Departure Arrival
D478 07:14 10:41
D482 11:58 03:22
D486 06:18 09:17
