About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

I am staying at the newly opened Courtyard Shanghai Xujiahui located at 100 HongQiao Road. I looked on the exit map for metro stop Xujiahui and it looks like exit 12 is on HongQiao Road. According to the Courtyard by Marriot information page the hotel is 2 minutes from the metro stop. We will arrive at PVG airport at 230p and thus be traveling into town during rush hour. I am afraid the subway will be crowded and it will be difficult to be riding with luggage. Any suggestions??? Is there an airport bus line that would be close to this hotel?? That might be easier. Appreciate any assistance in this matter.

1.The easiest way is taking a cab to your hotel, the fare should around RMB140. It takes about 50 minutes.
2.another suggestion. Firstly take the Line 3 of airport bus to Xiujiahui Stop, where the Shanghai Stadium is located. Metro station here is the Shanghai Stadium Stop of Line 1. Then, you can take it to tne next Xiujiahui Stop.

Please don't worry, the metro runs frequently and you donot come in the rush hour so that you could get one easily. Good luck!

You can also take the Maglev train from Pudong Airport to Downtown Pudong and form the Maglev station by taxi to your hotel. Don't take the taxi from the airport, the highway is very crowded and sometimes those 35 km could take even 1,5-2 hours.Maglev train runs approximatelly 7 minutes form the airport to downtown Pudong.

Hi Mary, try this one! Firstly, take the airport bus Line 7 to get to its terminal at Shanghai South Raiway Station. It takes about 40 minutes and 20 yuan. At the bus terminal, you could find the outdoor entrance to the Metro Line 1 easily, that is just in front. Then, take Line 1 to Xujiahui directly. The fare is 3yuan per person. Good luck!
