Dear Sir/Madam,
I am an American citizen and live in New York.
For the last two weeks I received two fake E-mails from my friend Y.Rozentsweig who lives in Australia and who had never sent the E-mails to me. Some business company used his electronic address without his permission and knowledge. These two E-mail messages advertised a Chinese company selling electronics from Beijing through the Internet all across the world.
The company only accepts cash in advance. They offer very attractive prices but refused to take any credit cards.
A week ago I received the same kind of proposal from the same people but with the different company's name. Both are in Beijing.
I contacted these people, talked to them and have the reason to believe that the sale they are trying to make is a fraud.
A friend of mine had sent money to the company and never received anything from them.
Please, tell me if that type of a fraud is punishable in China and how can I find an information on legitimate and lawful existence of a Chinese company offering goods for sale through the Internet.
Please, reply to my E-mail hotmail.com|Lifeplus2000
