About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

Hello
I am Polish leaving in Dublin. I would like to go to Hongkong and Shanghai my question is do I need two separt visas or just one for both places? The second question is I would like to stay in my friends house in Shanghai do I need an invetation from them, They are Americans.

Ms.magdalena, you needn't a visa to Hong Kong. You just need one visa to Mainland of China. you needn't an invitation letter from them. The two-way air ticket is enough for visa application. For details, refer to http://ie.chineseembassy.org/eng/Consular/AboutVisa/t112836.htm
