The visa office of Chinese embassy in New Delhi will be closed from Monday, Jan.26 through Friday, Jan.30, 2009 for the celebration of the Chinese Spring Festival. It will open on Monday, Feb.2, 2009.

Your wife can apply for Work visa (Z visa) from Chinese embassy in India. However, the Z visa is only valid for 3 months before entry and there is no stay duration on the visa, she need apply for residence permit within 30 days after entering China.

She need provide her original passport, the copy of data pages of the passport, one filled Visa application Form affixed with one passport photo taken in the recent six months, her Physical Examination Record (if she will stay in China for more than half a year), marrige license, copy of your Z visa and employment card
