Hi everybody,

Could someone enlighten me regarding inter-province transportation during the run-up to Chinese New Year? Will be travelling from Macau to Guangzhou on February 14, 2009 for a three (3) nights stay before going down to Hong Kong for a flight back to Singapore. Have read that trains and coaches are fully booked days and even weeks before the festivities as the locals head home for reunion dinners. Would appreciate your view and advice.

Thank you.

Many people choose to Guangzhou from Macau by bus through Gongbei Port. If by train, usually the ticket can be booked ten days a head of time. You can try to book by call. I addition, there are airport buses can be founded in Macau Airport to Guangzhou city center.
