Hi, Ms. Maddie. I think i can tell you some about that. The Forbidden City is the Imperial Palace which began to be constructed in Ming Dynasty. It was heavily guarded. No one could enter without the emperor's permission, of course except concubines and servants. Princes and officials can only entered if the emperor called them, let alone common people. They even dare not to look at it. So it is called the Forbidden City.
