I am the child of an Austrian Father and a Chinese mother so i am regarded as a chinese national after 1997 despite having an Austrian passport myself. I am told i need to apply for a home-return-permit in order to go to China....but do i need to apply for the HKSAR passport as well?On the website,the application for the home-return-permit regards HKSAR passport details as being optional material that one does not need to enter...does this mean i do not need an HKSAR passport?Thanks!
