About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

Hello

I am a HK citizen with a HKSAR passport in sydney right now. Unfortunately I don't have my Home Return Permit card, and I need to travel to shanghai in two weeks.

Do I need to apply for a China visa for my trip here?

You can apply from local Chinese consulate in Sydney for a special travel pass to the Mainland instead of the Home Return Permit. This document is called the People's Republic of China Travel Document.
