Im flying into HK and would like to visit Guangzhou. How to i apply to 240 visa to guangzhou. I know how to apply for shenzhen but i want to travel to guangzhou for sight seeing this time for a couple of days and then go back to HK to leave.

If you plan to go back to HK after visit, then you are not eligible for the 240. I advise you to travel to GZ, then Macau and go back to HK to make a 240 transit route. You can take a ferry or train to GZ and apply for the 240 at the port with your ticket leaving for Macau within 10 days. The process is actually simple and the arrival card can be filled online before going.
