Visa after 2026

I'm travelling to China from 15 December 2025 to 4 January 2026. I have seen that Irish citizens can visit China for up to 30 days without a visa. However, this information suggests that this free travel period is only valid until 31 December 2025. If I arrive on 15 December 2025, will I be able to stay without a visa until 4 January 2026, or will I need to apply for a visa before travelling to China? I will arrive and depart from Beijing.

Yes, you can stay without a visa until 4 January. You can stay for 30 days after entering before Dec. 31, 2025.
