About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa Free Transit in 2026

I'd like to travel with family in April of 2026 (Canada-Beijing-Seoul-Canada). Do you think it's safe to make travel arrangements and book flights soon? Flights are quite inexpensive right now this many months in advance. I worry of potential changes to the current transit policy in 2026 before our planned travel dates which may put our eligibility for visa free entry at risk. I've tried to look up information on when it expires for Canadian citizens but no such luck.
