About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Disabled people visiting China.

I watch with great hope that disabled people like my wife and I could visit China some day. We are both in a powered wheelchair and that is our main disability. We see on the You Tube channel that Chine has developed many powered wheelchairs but we never ever see them here in the UK. So it seems that we must go to your country to see these. One big problem is the price and the other is the way we could get around if we ever get there .I know this is ,maybe a impolite question but is there any help to move around your country or cities and are your hotels equipped with disabled rooms. I ask in all politeness and do not wish to offend. It is a wish to see your powered wheelchairs that we see on You Tube but of course it will take us a few years before we can afford to go. Thank you

Hi, Peter, China cares much about the disabled, actually. Special facilities are equipped on high speed trains, hotels, metro trains, and more, facilitating their travel around. Maybe you can book a private tour for a more convenient trip. Hope you can come to China soon.
