About:China Visa on Arrival

Visa on Arrival to enter Zhuhai at HZMB port for Canadian passport

Hello. I plan to visit Zhuhai from HK for 2 days and was wondering if I can still obtain a Visa on arrival when I arrive to Zhuhai by bus at the HZMB port. Is there any official government source that gives official guidance? Thanks!

Yes, Zhuhai 3 day visa on arrival is perfectly alive and functional. You can definitely obtain it at HZMB port. Actually, tens of Zhuhai visitors are doing exactly that on a daily basis right at HZMB port. The price is 130 CNY, payment by bank (credit, debit) card only. I do not have any official source because daily issuing of these visas is perfectly enough to consider this visa as something perfectly functional and recommended. By the way if you are a Chinese citizen of Hong Kong, in that case you cannot apply and use Zhuhai visa on arrival, but you have to enter Zhuhai on a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Home Return Permit). If you do not fall in this category you will use your foreign passport and obtain your Zhuhai visa on arrival right at HZMB port. Have a nice visit to Zhuhai.

Opening hours of visa office, 10:00 - 22:00. It is advisable to arrive at the port somewhat before 20:00 if possible. It is possible that the border authorities have extended the opening hours since recent relaxed immigration approach, but this is a detail that I cannot confirm. I hope these opening hours will suite with your travel plans.

Is it the same ease to get VOA for Zhuhai for US citizen? What is the cost for US citizens? We are visiting an elderly ailing relative.

Assume this is the same by private car? I really cannot find information on the HZMB VOA online. What i see if that can travel from HK to Zhuhai but need to be part of a trip organized by travel agency? i'm a bit confused but want to make sure can get visa for a Canadian passport when arriving at HZMB by car.
