About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa Free

Hi, I would like to travel from London - Shanghai (or Beijing) - Hong Kong.

Will I have to book a connecting flight (ie stopover) or does it mean I can book London to Shanghai (or Beijing) for a few days (via China Airline or whatever) and then another flight to Hong Kong (via a different airline)?

You can book another flight to HK. Just make sure you have the ticket to HK in hand when boarding the flight to Shanghai or Beijing.
