About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Hanian Stay

Hi, can you answer if this routing is allowed for US citizen under visa free stay 30 day Hanian or transit 240 hr stay. Fly Miami to HND on AA. Same day fly Shenzhen air, HND, with connection in Shenzhen Baoan (SZX) airport, not leave airport terminal(8 hrs layover). Connect to Sanyz,(SYX) Hanian. Stay 7 nights hotel. Then fly back to Japan with same SZX connection and stay 7 nights, then back to USA. Thank you very much for input

Sorry, William, your route is not eligible for either 240h visa free transit or Hainan visa free access. For the former policy, your route is not a transit but a round trip between Japan and Mainland China, while for the latter, your plane is not a direct flight from overseas city to Hainan as you will have a stopover in Shenzhen even if you will not leave the airport.
