Can I take a small penknife (less than 60 mm) and nail scissors on the bullet train

If officials find a penknife or nail scissors in checking baggage will they allow me on the train after confiscating it ? I am going from Shanghai to Beijing and then Beijing toxin by bullet train

Don't worry, Perran. They are allowed to be carried with you, in general. Even if some railway stations are strict, they will ask you to consign them rather than confiscate them directly or not allow you to take the train.
