No, unfortunately this is not possible. The time frame for 24 hour visa free transit is strictly 24 hours counting from your first scheduled landing in China until the last scheduled departure from China. So, if your itinerary or better to say, your total transit time is longer than 24 hours, you will have to obtain a Chinese transit (G) visa in advance. This visa is the easiest to obtain because it is based on your flight itinerary. I advise you to start with the visa issuing process at least 45 days before your planned departure. Alternatively, if you have not yet bought your flight ticket, it would be wise to alter your itinerary in order to fit into the 24 hour time frame. I wish you all the best.
