About:China Tourist Visa

Do I need a travel Visa?

I am a US citizen traveling for pleasure to from Chicago to Beijing for 4 days, then Tokyo for 4 days, then to Honolulu, Hawaii. From my research, I do not need a travel Visa. Is that correct?

Yes, you are free of visa taking advantage of the 240h visa-free transit. But you need to print out the ticket from Beijing to Tokyo even before boarding the flight to Beijing.
