About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit through Beijing Airport from Casablanca(Morocco) to Bangkok

hello,
I am flying from casablanca - beijing - Bangkok and Bangkok - beijing - Casablanca for the flight back.
i have a moroccan passport and would love to know if I will have a problem during my transit in beijing airport during my layover(less than 24h), note that I have 2 distinct ticket with 2 different companies, first one round trip Casablanca-beijing and the second one round trip beijing-bangkok, so I suppose I have to quit the transit zone to collect my luggage and do the check in once again for the connecting flight. would that be possible ?

Ham, you can do that and you will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit without any doubt. It is important to print out your flight tickets in order to expedite your formalities in both China and other countries. So, at the time of your check-in in Casablanca you will declare that you will travel to Bangkok via China using 24 hour visa free transit and you will present them your flight tickets. After a short check, you will be allowed to board the plane. Immediately, upon your landing in Beijing, the first thing that you will do will be to approach 24/240 hour visa free transit where you will apply for a temporary entry permit by presenting your flight tickets. This is free of any charge. Again, after a short check, your permit will be granted and you will head to the immigration and later to collect your luggage because you will have to perform new check-in. After you have done that, you will again cross the immigration and head to the gate for your flight to Bangkok. Here just one detail... I can see that Royal Air Maroc uses Daxing airport and, please, just check whether your flight to Bangkok uses the same one. It is not a problem even if your flight to Bangkok uses other Beijing airport, but you should allow enough time to perform the transfer. By the way, you will do the same on your journey from Thailand to Morocco via China. Have a pleasant journey.
