About:Xian Travel

From NQZ to PEK with stop at XIAN

Hello,
I booked flight CA792 on Air China from Astana NQZ to Beijing PEK, and it says there's a stop at Xian airport with transfer from terminal 5 to terminal 2, does that mean I have to cross passport control ?

Yes, you need to go through border inspection and customs first upon arrival before catching the connecting flight.
