About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

visa expire

Hi,

I have a question about how long I can stay in China, my visa expires on February 19th, it is category M, and I should be in China on February 10th for 15 days. Can I stay for those days in China or should I apply for a new visa before to my trip?

Your visa expires on February 19th, it means you can enter China before that day using that visa.

As for how long you can stay in China, it should be stated on the visa too. Usually, the duration of stay of an M visa is 30 days. If it is your case, of course you can stay for 15 days after entry on February 10th.
