About:Hong Kong to Shenzhen High Speed Trains

Transit visa free

Hi. I am USA passport holder in HK. Id like to use bullet trains to visit Shenzen and Guagzhou. I will have airplane ticket from Guagzhou to Vietnam. Is "72/144/240 Hours transit visa free" valid there? Where to clear imigration? Which transit visa for usa passport 72 or 144 240?

Yes, HK - SZ & GZ in Guangdong Province - Vietnam is an eligible transit for the 240h policy and Guangzhou and Shenzhen are cities you can stay during the visa free transit which has been prolonged to 240 hours. But note that you need to take a flight or ferry from HK to SZ or GZ to apply for the 240 and you can take a train to travel between SZ and GZ.
