About:Chinese Embassy in Netherlands

Do I need a visa

I know that I can stay in China for 30 days visa-free. My trip however is 31 days of which the last 5 days I'm in Hong Kong. I read that HK is a special zone. So, I'm confused. Do I need a visa for China?
Thank you in advance for clarification.

No, you don't need a visa. HK SAR has its own immigration and visa policy and nationals of Netherlands can stay in HK visa free for 90 days. So you don't need a visa if staying in Mainland China only for 26 days and in HK for 5 days.
