About:Beijing - Ulaanbaatar Trains: K23/ K24

UB-Hohhot-Beijing

according to new post a train from UB to Hohhot (nr 34/4654) arrives to Hohhot at 21:23+1 and the last train (K1178) to Beijing Xi (West) departures from Hohhot at 23:24. Two questions please:
(1) is the same station (arrival-departure in Hohhot)?
(2) is enough time to get the train to Beijing or the trains coming from UB have typical delays.
my trip is scheduled on Sept 2025. Thank you very much

1. K1178 passes by both Hohhot and Hohhot East Railway Station at 23:11 and 23:34 respectively.
2. Normally the train arrives at Hohhot on time. 2 hours are enough for the transfer to Beijing.

You can directly transfer the K1178 train in the HOHHOT railway station.
Two hours is enough to get the train, that because HOHHOT railway station is smaller than other station.
