Advise on terracotta

Should I stay in hotel near bell tower and do a 1 day trip to TERRACOTTA WARRIOR or stay at Ling tong for 1 night or 2? How to travel from Bell tower/ city wall to Terracotta and hua qing?

It's more advised to stay in Bell Tower for better hotel service. From Bell Tower, you can take a direct bus at Bell Tower metro station to the terracotta army or take metro line 6 to Fangzhicheng, transfer to line 9 to Huaqing Pool where you can go to Huaqing Palace on foot or take bus no. Lintong 613 there to the terracotta army.
