About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi! I have a question.

I’m from El Salvador and i’m planning to spend new year’s in Japan. My itinerary would be Japan (Tokyo) - China - Istanbul is elegible? Or Japan - China - Europe like The Netherlands ? Most of the cheapest, and comfortable routes go through China, and is a max scale of 4 - 3 hours. I would appreciate for any information.

Nicole, you are definitely eligible to use 24 hour visa free transit that does not require any kind of visa. In other words, you should just take care that your total transit time in China does not exceed 24 hours counting from your first landing in China until your last departure from China, both based on scheduled flight times. In other words, if you can find a flight option of this kind, just buy it because you will fly via China absolutely visa free. Have a nice journey.
