Jin Mao Shanghai Skywalk not allowed because of rain, what with tickets?

We arrived at the Jin Mao tower in Shanghai to do the skywalk experience, but no one was present at the entrance desk. We waited and asked several employees in the building what we should do or where to go, and 1 suggested the skywalk might be cancelled because of the rainy weather. Can we do it another day or recuperate our money?
