About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

From Philippines visiting HK

Im from Philippines visiting Hong Kong, from Hong Kong I want to visit Shenzhen then going back to Hong Kong. Can I get a 24hour visa? Thank you.

No, this is not possible because there is no such a thing as 24 hour visa. It is 24 hour visa free transit, but then you have to be in a real transit and not to have a return journey type as it is Hong Kong - Shenzhen - Hong Kong.

Your possible solution would be to apply for a 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival at one of three designated border crossings, Lo Wu (Luohu) being the most convenient. If you decide to proceed with this Shenzhen VOA, you are advised to arrive at Lo Wu (Luohu) at least an hour before the visa office opening hours (it opens at 09:00) in order to avoid the major queues. The price of this visa is 130 CNY that should be paid in cashless form or to be precise by your card. The majority of global cards are accepted. The citizens of the Philippines have mixed success rate in obtaining the Shenzhen VOA. I hope this helps.
