About:China Visa on Arrival

Great forum. Luohu VOA

Back around 2018 when I last visited Luohu the visa office was upstairs after the train before the immigration counters - is it still in this area?

Yes, it is - the second floor just upstairs. The price is 130 CNY, expect to pay in cashless form, your card will be fine and the opening hours are 9:00 - 16:30. It is highly recommended that you arrive even before the opening of visa office because the queues could be long.

If this is the case, you do not need any visa to enter mainland China since the citizens of New Zealand can enter China visa free for a period of 15 days, Shenzhen included.
