Is VISA required for a Malaysian to travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen ?

Hi, I am a Malaysian passport holder and understand that i can travel visa-free to China under 15 days limit. I am planning to travel to Hong Kong first, before travelling to Shenzhen directly from Hong Kong. For my HK to Shenzhen trip, am i required to have a VISA?

You do not need any kind of visa. As you have correctly mentioned, Malaysian citizens can enter, explore and stay in China visa free. Shenzhen is part of mainland China, so your visa free status allows you to travel there visa free as well. You should not bother about anything else, but just bring your passport and fill out the arrival card at the time you are entering mainland China. That's all you need to do.
