Can I enter China(Shenzhen) from Hong Kong Boarder (Lowu)?

It is possible, but not using 24/72/144 hour visa free transit, but by applying and obtaining a Shenzhen 5 days visa on arrival, exactly at Lo Wu (Luohu) border crossing. The price of this visa is affordable, i.e. 130 CNY payable by your credit card. It is highly advisable to be at the border crossing early, preferably at latest at 08:30 to avoid major queues.

After your stay in Shenzhen you can return back to Hong Kong by taking any border crossing and any mean of transport, high speed train included.

You have to be aware that Shenzhen VOA is limited to Shenzhen city limits and if you want a real (full) Chinese visa valid for the entire territory, you can also apply for one at Lo Wu (Luohu), but the waiting time will be somewhat longer and the price is 206 CNY. If you decide for the second option, you will be almost certainly asked for the purpose of your stay in China and your approximate itinerary.
