About:Macau Visa Policy

visa free travel

Hi I have New Zealand passport which has 15 days visa free travel to China. Am I able to travel to Kunming for 13 days then leave China to visit Macau for 1 day and return back to Guangzhou under the 15 days visa free arrangement for New Zealand citizens? Is entering Macau consiered as leaving China and allows me to re-enter China again for another up to 15 days?

Yes. To go to Macau means you have left Mainland China, and the trip to Guangzhou will be considered another entry which allows you stay for another 15 days there.
