Can I bring sassafras root and Cajun seasoning into china

Can I bring dried sassafras root for tea and store bought Cajun seasoning into china for personal meals? (Sassafras was traditionally used to flavor root beer but I understand there are natural components in sassafras that may be used in the synthesis of some drugs)(Cajun seasoning will be used on crawfish which I know is a common food in China).

Cajun Seasoning is allowed but the sassafras root for tea needs to be inspected and quarantined.
