About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Indonesian passport holder transit in Guangzhou 23 hours 40 min. Do I need visa?

My itinerary (Dubai - Guangzhou - Jakarta )
I’m quite aware might exceed 24h TWOV, is that possible in 20min I leave the Guangzhou airport? Or I need to apply visa and where to apply?

When we talk about 24 hour visa free transit then only the scheduled times matter and not the real ones. A plane could arrive ahead of scheduled time or it can be delayed on departature. This is irrelevant because the Chinese authorities will take care about scheduled time strictly.

To conclude, you are eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. Upon your landing in Guangzhou you will approach transit counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit in order to be allowed to exit the airport. This application is free of any charge.
