Arrival in advance at Shanghai Hongqiao

Hi,
With electronic tickets, is it really necessary to arrive at Shanghai station an hour and a half in advance, as some websites claim?
I'm 71 years old and have a slight disability (I walk with a stick). Can I get priority access?
Thank you for your answers

Normally half an hour in advance is enough but considering your slight disability, it is advised to arrive one hour in advance. The special service for the needed needs to be reserved in advance (12-72h before the departure) through the 12306 app. But don't worry; there are always some volunteers (in red vest) ready to offer a hand. Wish you a smooth trip~
