About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

If PR holder stay 5 years outside of china, will he able to enter back in to China without a visa?

If someone with a valid reason to stay outside of China for 5 years after getting a PR card, Will he be able to come back to China? His PR will be cancelled immediately or he won't be able to renew his PR card after its expiry date?

His PR card will be cancelled and become invalid if he stay no more than 3 months in China one year or stay for no more than one year within 5 years. To renew the card, he should submit the apply one month before the expiry date.
