About:China Customs Declaration

gold coins

we have two passengers (married) travling together. with total of 4 gold coins (1 oz each) plus $3000 dollars. is this allowed? what is the threshold for two passengers (married) traveling together? if we are changing planes no issues but we may need to stay 1 night in the city of Shanghai.

For gold product, it is allowed and the threshold is 50g per person. And for dollars, the threshold is USD 5,000 per person.
