how to input single name for ticket and plane reservation in China?

hi, my friend name is only "Maria", how to input her name in first name and last name field? is it "Maria Maria" or "Ms Maria"? or else? Need advice. thank you.

Is the name on her passport also Maria? If so, leave one column blank and just input the name exactly the same as in her passport. BTW, the passport number should also be exactly the same as in her passport.

Hi Keith thanks for the reply, what if the field can't be empty? I want to book Juneyao airlines,but both first and last name fields are required. I refer to China Airlines,if no surname I can put "Ms" in front of the name, can I use the same method to book the China train ticket and the airplane ticket? Thank you in advance.

Maybe she can fill in two "Maria" and explain the reason in the remark section.
