About:Hong Kong to Shenzhen High Speed Trains

Customs?

Hi I am an American planning on taking the train from Hong Kong into Shenzen and was wondering if/how I go through customs. I have a Chinese visa, will they check it at the station?

Yes, you will go through the customs and immigration at West Kowloon and your China visa will be checked. As you have to go the manual check channel, you may wait in line and it may take some time. So I advise to arrive at the train station 2 hours prior to the departure for the whole immigration and boarding process..
